Wordless Wednesday

I haven't been able to update recently, because my wonderful, perfect camera broke.  :(  It will take some time to get it back from the shop, but here is a cute iPhone pic of Auds this week.

Magnificent Monday

**title brought to you from a 10 year teaching career where you try to greet your students with an alliteration each day.

Well, today was one of those days where everything just goes your way.  This doesn't happen to me all that often, so I thought I should write it down to remember it.

Last night was THE night of good tv.  The Real Housewives of ATL Reunion.  Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, The Finale (where she finally spills that she's having Ye's baby), and the long awaited Season Premiere of Mad Men.  My DVR was all set up.  I watched the RHOA Reunion and then went to bed, too tired to stay up to watch the 2 Hour Premiere of Mad Men.  Yes, I was asleep at my normal time of 9 pm.  My alarm was set for 5:15 am to run.  But then at 3:15 this morning I woke up.  I *could* have gone back to sleep, but my mind immediately raced to Mad Men.  I just had to go downstairs to watch it.  So there I sat from 3:30 until 5:30 this morning, watching Mad Men.  And people, it.was.worth.it.  Yes, it's not as good as the earlier seasons, but it was still amazing.  And to see Betty Draper back in action was worth it.

As I was getting ready for work, I realized I was quite tired.  I haven't had coffee in months, but decided I needed to stop at Starbuck's to make it through the day.  I had a Grande Caffe Latte, and when they asked if I wanted an extra shot of espresso I was all about it.  By 7:30 I was BOUNCING OFF OF THE WALLS.  But it made for some energetic lessons for my kiddos.  I had a fun day with them.

Then after school my teammates and I tried a new workout, P90X.  I had previously done this workout right before my wedding, about 10 years ago. Yeah, they changed it and totally made it harder.  But it was THE best workout I've had in awhile.  And we had a lot of fun doing it.  And yes, this Tony Horton guy is as dorky as he looks.  But he knows a good workout!

And then, the best part of my day, I picked up my girl and we headed home.  I was still so pumped up from my workout that I suggested a walk around the neighborhood.  We had such a fun walk, looking at bugs, flowers, and plants.  Then we came home and kicked the soccer ball around.  Girlfriend is GOOD. We've got to get her into PSA this summer.

For dinner and I made Beef Roast for the first time.  (and yes, it was the Archer Farms kind you make in the microwave.)  Audrey was really not into even trying it at first.  But it was actually very good, so she gave in and tried a bite and said "Momma, this IS good.  But don't tell Daddy I said that, because he'll make me eat it at his house."  HA!  Such a little smartie.

Then she helped me clean up and we played for a bit.

Time to brush our teeth . . .

Then we listened to a Barbie in the Dreamhouse Song before reading our books . .
After that, she fell asleep within minutes.

I'm sure I'm in for it tomorrow as I crash from my 6 hours of sleep last night, but today was worth it.
