Hi There!

So much going on around here . .  I haven't been able to update the blog due to my camera issues! Latest update . . .I took it in 2 weeks ago and they said I just needed a new memory card.  So I got one.  Then we were off to a super cute Princess Party at my Dad's Country Club.  Auds was all decked out.  I was taking tons of cute photos, and then the camera stopped working.  Apparently I had to make the new memory card match with the camera.  So of course I called Hilary, who talked me through it.  Camera was working again, and all ready for our Mother's Day outing to the Butterfly Exhibit.  Audrey, my mom, and I met Hilary and her sweet family at Collin Creek Mall on Sunday to view the Butterfly Exhibit.  We did the same thing last year and Audrey was TERRRIFIED.  They give each kid a Q-tip with some special butterfly stuff on it, to attract the butterflies.  Last year Audrey wanted nothing to do with this exhibit.  This year?  She was ALL about it.  She loved carrying the butterflies from one flower to the next.  I was getting some amazing pictures of it too!  And then, I got the same message on my camera.  Some foreign language about formatting.  Grr!  So no pictures of that fun event . . .

And then on the way home from the Butterfly Exhibit my mom and I received a call that the amazing Patti Murphy passed away.  You can read more about her here:  http://pattimurphyblog.blogspot.com/

Growing up, the Murphy family WAS, and still is,  my family.  They are amazing peeps.  Words escape me as I try to do justice to Patti's story.  She is truly one of those people that you strive to be like.

So the past few days have been a blur of planning a trip to the ATL for the funeral, making plans for Audrey, and coming to terms with the fact that God really does have it all in his hands.

Meanwhile, Audrey had her Spring Dance Recital on Thursday.  I, unfortunately had to miss it, but James took some precious photos and video for me.  It's amazing how much she has grown since her last recital!
