Which Bow to Wear Today?

Every day's bow choice has become a HUGE deal in our house!  (And isn't our bow organizer the cutest?  My friend Glenda's daughter in law actually made it!  My dream is to one day be that crafty.)  Audrey used to want a pony tail every morning, but now she wants her hair pulled to the side in a bow.  It's the cutest thing ever.  I used to just pick out a bow for her, but now SHE has to pick it out.  It's hilarious.  She inspects the shirt she's wearing, names every color in it, and then looks at all the bows to see which one "matches the best".  The other day she was wearing a pink skirt with a white shirt with *barely* a hint of green in the flowers on it.  So Audrey looked it over and deemed the green bow with white polka dots perfect because it matched Mama! Um, well, technically, YES, but um . . . .the OCD nature in me almost kicked in but she was just SO proud of herself for finding the best bow that I told her, yep, that one does match!  It takes a few extra minutes in the morning, but I love how girly she is!

Also note how I've left a few bows out of her reach.  ;)

Too Much Fun!

Auds is seriously having too much fun this summer.  I'm going out tomorrow to buy her a sticker chart for good behavior.  That will be a whole other post tomorrow!  ;)  But for now, here she is having fun swimming with Grandpa!  :)

I Finally Gave In

So I finally painted Auds' fingers and toes.  It's something I swore I wouldn't do until she was until at least in Kindergarten, but all of her friends at school have painted nails and she has been asking for the the past month.  So, yes, I took her to the mall, to Claire's, where I went to get my ears' pierced at 13, and we painted her nails.  I have to admit, it was super fun and she was so excited.  She actually sat and waited for them to dry.  Here she is, showing that she can't believe it actually happened!  But I WILL remain adamant about no ear piercing until at least 12 years old.  Just you watch!  ;)
