My very own chair!

Audrey now has her very own chair! It's so cute. :) We put it in the living room and she'll actually crawl onto it to watch Yo Gabba Gabba every night. I tried to take some pictures, but she was all "Um, Mom, it's Yo Gabba Gabba time, I can't be bothered to pose for the camera!" ;)

Happy 2nd Valentine's Day!

Wow! This is our second Valentine's Day with Audrey! Last year at this time James and I had big plans. My mom was coming over to watch Auds while James and I went to see "Shopaholic Takes Manhattan". I was sooooo nervous. I remember giving my mom itemized instruction on how to give the bottle, put Audrey to bed, etc as if she hadn't done this before! And this was our big night out. And the movie was . . .AWFUL. So bad I actually yelled in the theater at the end because this was my one night out and this movie ruined it!!!

Snow Days

Wow! We got so much snow here! It's crazy. Of course we had to go outside and play in it! :)

But last night the snow got to be too much for the old trees in our neighborhood. We woke up this morning to a lot of broken branches. Luckily nothing too bad happened, just a lot of branches on the ground and blocking driveways. It sure looked pretty though!

Poor Alice was blocked in and Bob had to haul this branch out of the way with the Tahoe.

1 Year Old!!!

Wow. I cannot believe that this milestone is finally here. Audrey Elizabeth Adams is 1 year old. I was pretty emotional the week before her birthday. I kept remembering every moment as it was 1 year ago. I remember being so uncomfortable that I just wanted her OUT. I remember James and I planning every single detail. I look back at that time and am just in awe at how little we knew of what was to come of our lives. How could we imagine this perfect being? Audrey is simply the best thing ever. We are so blessed to have known her this past year and I can't even imagine what the next year will bring.

Happy Birthday Audrey! We woke her up with a candle in a donut. She loved the candle, not so much the donut, which is a theme that went throughout the day . . .

Heather wanted to get Audrey some ice cream for her first birthday. What a perfect idea! So Heather, Bridgette, Audrey and I went over to Northpark for a birthday outing. Audrey had a great time until we actually forced her to try some ice cream

On to the party. James and I have been calling Audrey "our little bear" since day one. So that was the theme of the party. And yes, I made these super cute cookies!
